Anti-inflammatory drugs are used to treat the acne that is infected. They are often used to control the pain and itching caused by Acne Vulgaris. They are also prescribed to reduce the inflammation.
Topical medications are the second option to treat the infected skin. There are many types of topical medications that are effective in treating the condition. These include creams, lotions, and pills that are applied to the affected areas. The most common topical medications include Accutane and Differin.
Chemical peels are also available to treat the skin. This type of treatment involves injecting chemicals into the affected areas in order to remove the outer layer of the skin. They are most effective at removing the dead skin and restoring its moisture. They are a good solution for those who have oily skin. Some people suffering from severe forms of Acne Vulgaris also have to undergo laser treatments to treat their acne.
Laser treatments have been known to remove the bacteria and infection that cause Acne Vulgaris. They are most commonly used to treat acne vulgaris that is deep seated. This form of treatment is less expensive and safer than other methods of treatment and can be performed in a dermatologist's office.
